Only the finest mohairs are used. Mouths and noses are hand sewn. Moveable limbs are board and pin jointed. Safety eyes are used, unless a more traditional glass boot button type is specifically requested. Glendaveny Teddy Bears began production in 1991. The business is located at 41 Broad Street, Peterhead, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, where examples of the Glendaveny range of teddy bears can be seen on display and for sale in the shop frontage. A work area is located at the back of the premises where 20 dedicated employees make the bears.
Unless specifically mentioned, most of our teddy bears can be personalised with embroidered text on paw pads. Limited editions will, as a matter of course, carry the limited number of the requested bear sewn on to a paw pad. Glendaveny Scotland is an Aberdeenshire Council project. |

As well as the teddy bears shown, we also make limited editions, which we will put forward for sale on this web site when designs are finalised.
